Izotope Stutter Edit – MIDI Effect Instrument Plug-In

Izotope has recently come out with a very cool MIDI Effect Instrument plug-in called Stutter. I’ve demoed it, and came away impressed.

For the longest time I’ve wanted to create these certain types of audio effects in my own music, but I didn’t want to spend the time editing to do it. Yeah I know, I’m lazy.

Needless to say, I’m thankful that Izotope has taken some of the hard work out of it.

Very cool! It is a lot of fun to play around with and opens up many creative possibilities.

Right now it’s on sale for $149 until February 14, 2011 – then it goes up to $249. I think it’s well worth the price, but I don’t know if I’ll have the money to make a purchase.

It is, however, something that is on my long wish list. If you have some time, check Stutter out and play around with the demo.

The plug-in is available in VST, Audio Unit, Pro Tools 7.4+ (RTAS only) formats.
